THE General Overseer of World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry WOSEM, an army of the Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Dr. Paul Obadare, has urged christians not to live the life of shadow to please man but a life that would please God.
The clergy who visited the Ughelli Assembly on Sunday, in preparation for a 3-days revival tagged: Revive Us Again disclosed that christians should channel their living toward heaven as whatever thing done while on earth will be accounted for on the day of judgement.
In a message titled, Living behind the laws of yearly sacrifice, Obadare said, “Wicked and evil generation that did not believe in God were asking for signs and wonders as they want to be given palliatives before the would come to the church.
We need to leave a shadow life and live the real life as everyone of you see your shadow but your shadow is not the real life of you as human.
The scriptures in our hand is real but the people who leaving this scripture did not know that in the old testament they were living a life a time that one day, the real will come.
“They thought that the blood of the bull as sacrifice will take away sin not knowing that when Jesus came to the world, said sacrifice and offering he will not.
“Christians should stop chasing after the shadows, the past experience and what use to be many years ago because a shadow is a shadow and not the real thing.
I don’t want you as a Christian to be living in the past but in the real which is the present and enjoy what God has done for you and mankind.
When you come to the house of the Lord, you must look for something that is different from before and not the past because Jesus entered into the temple as a new man but not a shadow.
“There is a different between seeing the kingdom and entering it and there are people who born again ,they see the kingdom but it is difficult for them to enter into it because the kingdom they coming in is a spiritual one.”
“As christians when you rejoin in your position, you are living in a shadow that will see the kingdom but finds it difficult to enter into it because of its spirituality.”
